📣 The Role: Community Experience Specialist

We’re hiring a Community Experience Specialist to lead Discord management, virtual live event support, and the onboarding of new players in our growing community of college-based gamers and thinkers.

You’ll be responsible for configuring and managing our Discord, ensuring smooth operation and active engagement. You’ll also support our team during high-stakes virtual live events (often late evenings in PT/ET time zones), onboard new players into the experience, and help make every interaction with Atlas feel cinematic, intentional, and human.

This role is perfect for someone who lives at the intersection of community, gaming, and experience design—someone who thrives in real-time environments, communicates with care, and loves creating moments that stick. You’re the kind of person who brings energy to every space you're in—someone who genuinely loves humans and wants them to have the best possible time.

  You’ve run or managed Discord servers before—roles, bots, safety, and structure are second nature to you. You know how to make a community feel alive and protected.

  You’ve spent real time in games—whether it’s Valorant, Chess, Elden Ring, or competitive social games. You understand gaming culture and love it deeply.

• 🧠 High-Agency and Detail-Oriented

• 🎤 Comfortable Being the Face

  You’re a people-person. Whether it’s welcoming new players, hosting a virtual live event, being featured in branded content, or troubleshooting with someone 1-on-1—you make people feel seen and supported.
