Atlas was born out of concern for what we’re losing.
As artificial intelligence accelerates, IQ scores are declining. Attention spans are shrinking. Critical thinking is outsourced. We’re watching human potential degrade. The skills that once defined us—reasoning, critical thinking, collaboration, adaptability, real-time decision-making—are fading into the background.
We didn’t want to sit back and watch it happen—we set out to counter it.
We began building Atlas: not just a game, but an active experiment. A competitive, abstract, team-based arena designed to pressure-test the human edge. Each challenge is crafted by an AI we created—Atlas—whose sole purpose is to target the skills automation is eroding and force us to sharpen them.
No tutorials. No pre-reads. No advance notice. Just high-stakes, collaborative thinking under time and pressure. A level playing field. No one gets a head start.
We are a strange coalition.
Educators. Game designers. Math prodigies. AI engineers. Dropouts. Misfits. We’ve spent our lives studying how humans learn, think, and grow. Some of us built classrooms. Some built games. Some built the systems now threatening the skills we’re trying to protect.
What unites us is a shared urgency:
We see what’s being lost. And we’re building Atlas to challenge what it's taking away from us.
